- What is WebEd?
- WebEd provides online training
courses to social workers.
- WebEd training courses offer
2.0 FREE CEUs for most courses, except Understanding
the NASW Code of Ethics which is a Members-Only Free course
for 3.0 CEUs.
- Users are able to stop in
the middle of a course and return to finish the course (click on My
Courses tab on the Menu), according to their availability.
- Webed courses are available
24/7 and users can access previously registered courses under the
My Courses tab.
- How do I
create a WebEd username and password?
- Members: NASW
members can access the WebEd website by using their member center login
information.
- Non-members:
If you have never been an NASW member, you can create your username
and password by clicking
here. If you were
an NASW member in the past, and have forgotten your username and password,
please call Member Services at 800.742.4089 or send an email to membership@naswdc.org to have your username and password emailed
to you.
- Why does
the system tell me there may be a duplicate record for me?
- You may receive this messag,e
because (1) you were an NASW member and are now inactive; (2)
are a current NASW member; or (3) have an existing WebEd record
(member and non-member).
- If you receive this message,
you will not be allowed to create your WebEd username and password.
Please contact Member Services at the tollfree number 1.800.742.4089
or send an email to membership@naswdc.org to have your username and password emailed
to you.

are available through WebEd?
The following courses are available
on the WebEd website. You can find all available courses on the
main screen after you log into the WebEd website. te.

- How do I
take (register) for a course(s)?
- Clicking “Register”
next to the course title allows you to register and take the course.
- Why is there
a check mark next to a course(s)?
- Courses with a check mark
next to them indicate that you have already registered or taken that
course. You have started the course and completed it or may have
started the course and stopped half way through.
- How do I
view courses I’ve already taken?
- In the Webed course page,
point your mouse to “Courses”. This is located next to “Welcome”.
- When you point your mouse
to “Courses”, “My Courses” will appear in the drop down menu.
- Click on “My Courses.”
- This will take you to your
course page. On this page you will see the courses that you’ve completed
and the courses that you’ve registered for but have not completed.
- I returned
to finish a course, but had to start over. Why?
In order for the system to remember
where you last left off, you must bookmark the page. To
bookmark the page so you can return to it again at a later time:
- Scroll down to the bottom
left hand corner of the page
- Click the icon next to “Bookmark”
- This will create a bookmark
and allow you to come back to this page later
- How do I
access my Bookmarks?
Bookmarks
are found under the “My Courses” area. To access “My
Courses”:
- Point your mouse to “Courses”es”
- Highlight and click on “My
Courses” that appears
- All bookmarks you have created
will appear in the BookMarks section of the page
- I forgot
my password. How do I reset/retrieve my password?
- If you have forgotten your
password, click
here to have a password
reset email sent to you. Follow the instructions in the email
to create a new password. You will need your WebEd username to
reset your password.
- How do I
access the examination?
- The post course examination
allows users to take an exam and receive CEUs. The left to the
“Post Course Examination” can be found at the bottom left
hand side of the presentation web-page.
- How do I
print my certificate?
- In the Webed course page,
point your mouse to “Courses”.
- Highlight and click on
“My Courses” that appears
- Find the completed course
that you want to print a certificate for. Click “Print
Certificate” that appears next to that course.
